First session

  1. Do these before you reroll — Create or pick one character slot and leave the others alone until this slot can clear Easy. Customize later. Open quests, inventory, equipment, and the code button so you know where they are. Join the AoTR [PI] Roblox group. The game description states a permanent +5% XP and +5% Gold for members.
  2. Learn the hooks on a small Titan — Use Q and E, or LB and RB, to fire each hook on purpose. Double-tap the boost before you need it in a grab. Cut the nape from the side, then reload. The full key list and the upgrade order are in the ODM guide. Training Grounds, added in Update 4, is the low-pressure place to do this.
  3. Redeem, then play on the potions — Open Codes from the title screen or main menu and redeem the strings that the screen still accepts. UPDATE5 asks for Prestige 1 on multiple November lists. Two-hour potions from the big codes should be used in the same session. Then run missions until your average gear grade reaches the next difficulty.
  4. What not to do on day one — Do not spin away the first Epic or better Family before you have read what it does. Do not enter the Colossal raid before Prestige 2. Do not buy Lucky Spins with Robux until you know how they differ from normal Spins. The event listing names them and does not define them.

What should a new player do first?

Pick one character slot, finish the opening movement practice, join the AoTR [PI] group for the stated +5% XP and +5% Gold, then redeem codes before you spend Spins. Upgrade Damage, Speed, and Control before you chase raids.

Does a Family decide the whole account?

A Family is a permanent passive and, at Rare and above, often a skill. You can keep more than one and switch from the loadout. A Legendary that matches your weapon is more useful than a Mythical you cannot play.

When did Update 5 release?

Public reports of the Roblox event listing put Update 5, called Spooky Season, at 31 Oct 2026, 16:00 UTC. The same reports say the listing itself ran until 7 Nov 2026, 16:00 UTC. The shifter, Vessels, and Freedom difficulty stay after that listing window.

How do Divine Perks differ from Mythic Perks?

Update 5 added Divine as a new rarity above Mythic. Player tutorials say they are forged from Divine Fragments dropped on Freedom difficulty, not pulled as a normal perk drop. Body can hold one without a capstone; Offense, Defense, and Support need that path's capstone.

Which Titan should I unlock first?

Attack Serum is the usual first shifter project. Colossal is the widest raid clear once you can enter its raid, and Beast Serum is the Update 5 project. Ackerman and Zoe are documented as unable to shift, so do not farm a serum on those Families.
